    "The Ensors are an old Warwickeshire family and the branch settled a Ardress can sport a pedigree in the male line going back directly and without breaks to the year 16563. They were formerly seated at Willincote..."

    Caroline Ensor, the daughter of George Ensor (1769-1843) and Esther Weld, was born about 1805 probably in Dublin. She married John Patrick Prendergast in 1838 at Loughgall Church, County Armagh. She had three children - only one surviving.

    George Ensor, the son of George Ensor (1725-1803) and Sara Clarke, was born 17 Dec 1769 in Dublin, and died 3 Dec 1843 probably Dublin. He married Esther Weld 7 Jan 1804 at Ardress. On his Wikipedia page he is described as "an eminent Irish lawyer, radical political pamphleteer and freethinker".

    Sara/Sarah Clarke, the daughter of Thomas Clarke and Sarah Dobbin, was born about 1740, married at Ardress 11 Oct 1760 George Ensor (1725-1803). She is called "heiress of Ardress", a small estate in Co. Armagh. The couple came into the property about 1783.

    George Ensor (1725-1803), the son of Job Ensor and Mary Hill, was born in England, baptized in St Michael's church, Coventry, on 29 December 1724, married Sara Clarke in 1760, and died 3 Dec 1843 aged 73, buried Loughgall, Armagh. George Ensor and his brother John Ensor were both noted Dublin architects, who arrived in Ireland in 1754. George designed the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Dublin, and also the County Infirmary of Armagh.

    Esther Weld, the daughter of Isaac Weld (1744-1824) and Elizabeth Kerr, was born either 1783 or about 1789, and died 22 Jan 1874, aged 86, at Rostrevor, testate. She married in 1804 probably in Dublin George Ensor (1769-1843). Her brother Isaac Weld (1774-1856) was a travel writer, artist, and author of "Travels Through the States of North America", publ. 1796. Their half-brother Charles Richard Weld wrote "A Vacation Tour in the United States and Canada", published 1855.

    Isaac Weld (1744-1824), son of Isaac Weld (1719-1778) and Ann Darby (1718-1795), was born 9 Mar 1744, Dublin, died 1824, was a Dublin merchant. He married Elizabeth Kerr 1770 in Dublin.
