Immigrant Ancestors
Mary Abbie Childs came from an old New England family, with most of her American immigrant ancestors arriving in the 1630s and 1640s, settling in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
This page lists all the known immigrant ancestors of Mary Abbie Childs. Her pedigree chart (Excel) shows their relationships to her.
Most of these immigrants are not included in the main database of this website. That database documents individuals' lives in more detail. It contains about seventy of her directs, where the pedigree chart lists nearly three hundred.
Dig into the sources to learn more about their lives: Most referenced books can be read online - simply search the book title, and find at archive.org, or hathitrust.org. The Great Migration series references require a membership at AmericanAncestors.org. The Great Migration Directory is not online; see excepts here (pdf). Links to many referenced journals can be found via the GMD abbreviations page here.
