  • Death*: before 23 May 16842
  • Note*: Participated in Gove's Rebellion. Joseph Wadleigh and his brother Robert Wadleigh junior were found guilty on 1 Feb 1682/3 for being one of Gove's company breaking out of custody, and for standing upon his defence. Both were imprisoned at Portsmouth. Per Governor Cranfield's letter, Joseph died in prison sometime before 23 May 1684.2
  • Note: In 1722 his sister Mary sold 1/6 of his 100 acres near Deer Hill.3
