  Mrs. R. B. Cook dies at age 73
  
  Kathleen (Mrs. Richard B.) Cook, 73, mother of Richard B. Cook Jr. of Redlands, died here late last evening.
  
  Mrs. Cook was born in Hartford, Ct., and came to Redlands with her husband and two children in 1920. Mr. Cook, who died in January 1942, was a citrus grower.
  
  Mrs. Cook was one of the early members of Redlands Community Hospital Auxiliary and was active in Trinity Episcopal church as a young woman. She was particularly interested in the U.S.O. program during the war years and devoted much of her time in its interest.
  
  With the exception of seven or eight years when she lived at Lake Chapala, Mexico, Mrs. Cook mad Redlands her home. She returned here three years ago to live permanently.
  
  In addition to her son in Redlands, she leaves three grandchildren, Priscilla, Betsy and David Cook. A daughter, Betsy (Mrs. Chester D.) Bidwell of La Canada died December 14.
  
  Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced later by F. Arthur Cortner.³
