  • Note: Langhorne Biles of Falls Township Bucks County Pennsylvania on 31 May 1742 granted to John Beaumont of the same place merchant, in consideration of £20 money of New Jersey, 1666 acres of land to be surveyed in any part of the Western Division of New Jersey below the Falls of the Delaware, being part of a warrant granted to Langhorne Biles by the Council of Proprietors of 2500 acres on the fifth division dated 10? May 1742, the land being Langhorne Biles by virtue of the 3 December 1707 will of his father William Biles. West Jersey Deeds, Vol. EF, p. 274.     Langhorne Biles of Falls Township Bucks County Pennsylvania yeoman on 5 August 1742 granted to Edmond Hisse? of Great Egg harbor Township Gloucester County West New Jersey, in consideration of £500 money of New Jersey, 5958 acres of land to be surveyed anywhere within the province of New Jersey, which is in full of three warrants granted by the Council of Proprietors of Western Division of New Jersey to Langhorne Biles. Recorded 1742, West Jersey Deeds, Vol. EF, p. 198-200. Abstracted by Jeff Moore; viewed on FHL microfilm 450050.

    Langhorne Biles on 29 November 1750 made five deeds disposing of New Jersey properties inherited from his father William Biles to Isaac Ayres of Cumberland Co. New Jersey, p. 316; Joseph Ayars of Cumberland Co. New Jersey, p. 319; Nathan Ayars of Cumberland Co. New Jersey, p. 321; William Rufield? Russell?, p. 324 & p. 326. These were lands purchased by William Biles from James Wasse in Salem County New Jersey and inherited by Langhorne Biles.
