    "Hannah Bailey died yesterday at the Bailey home, at Pine Iron Works, after an illness of several years, in the 67th year of her age. Deceased was the daughter of Joseph Bailey, deceased, and was born in Chester county, but resided at Pine for many years past. She was a member of the Society of Friends. Her surviving brothers are all prominent citizens, as follows: Joseph L. Bailey, Pine Iron Works; William L. Bailey, Thorndale, Chester county; Charles L. Bailey and Dr. George L. Bailey, of Harrisburg. Funeral on Friday at 10.30 a.m. Burial at Exeter, Berks county."

    Burial notice in Daily Pottstown Ledger, Sat 1/15/1898 p. 1:
    "Hannah Bailey was buried from her late residence at Pine Iron Works, yesterday, in accordance with the custom of Friends. Rev. Joseph S. Elkington, of Philadelphia, delivered an address at the house and the interment was made at Exeter Meeting House. The pall bearers were nephews of deceased."
