  • Note: Early Land: In 1758 Thomas and Mary Lloyd deeded to son John Lloyd 10 acres along Pennypack Creek. In 1762 John deeded these 10 acres to brother Samuel. Samuel sold a half interest to brother James, and together they constructed a mill along the creek. In 1768 Samuel and James' mill property was sold to Joseph Hart. Much of the mill property is now contained in Mason's Mill Park, located where the Pennsylvania Turnpike crosses Byberry Road, about three miles due north of Northeast Philadelphia Airport.   • Note: Davis: "Chapter XIV, Warminster...Joseph Todd, one of the early settlers of Warminster, took up a tract of 224 acres, and was conveyed to him by patent, 1701. It lay on the Street road where the York road intersects it...The subsequent owners were Samuel Lloyd, 1769, consideration £955"
