  • Note*: 1696; "Henry Cook...son of Anthony...Cook of Kingston, Ulster County New York, removed thence with his family in 1696-1702 to Burlington County, New Jersey, as had his stepfather William Fisher and family in 1696..." In 1702 he purchased 100 acres of land in Burlington Co., selling it in 1708. He served on the grand jury at the Quarter Sessions Court of Burlington County 1704, 1706 and 1709, and was chosen Constable for Mansfield Township for the year of 1708. He and his family "finally settled in Maidenhead Township, in that part of old Burlington County which was set off as Hunterdon County. [He] was chosen a surveyor of highways at the Maidenhead Town Meeting of 2 Jan 1721. He died there testate between 15 Nov and 20 Jan 1723/4."2
